I have taught for School District 73 for 14 years and currently teach Grade 1 & 2 at Kamloops School of the Arts.  I have worked with students of all grades and abilities, but my joy for teaching reading in particular has allowed me to focus my attention on the primary grades.  I have delivered many workshops on engaging students in learning through movement and creative processes.  I love helping emergent readers develop independence and confidence. My products come from the heart and reflect my personal ways of teaching. As a teacher, I know you need practical ideas. As a mom of two, I know you need things that don't cause frustration.
